Why not come to Rarotonga for Summer this year?
While December through April is know as the 'rainy season', this doesn't mean you will be completely washed out if you visit within this period. Generally, rainfall occurs in small bursts before the clouds break again for some hot sunshine.
Seasonal fruits like mango, pineapple, passionfruit, and star fruit are in abundance.
Surfing is also the best during this time, when the strong North Pacific swells feeds into the South Pacific, creating favourable offshore conditions on the northern and western shores.
Paddling is also very popular with paddlers from all over the world coming to compete in various races over a week long festival called Vaka Eiva. Although not being held due to Covid in 2022, there will be a big contingent coming from New Zealand to compete against the locals in a smaller competition.
What ever your reason, come to Rarotonga and stay at our fabulous Manuia Beach Resort, the adults only Resort on the sunset side of the island. Mention this news item and we'll give you a deal that will give you a 'summer smile'.
